The DJ

Craig Brizell also known as DJ Bizz is a long-time raver and full-time junglist.

Bizz has been part of the rave scene since he was old enough to get away with a fake ID. For him it has always been about the music going out partying meeting new people and being surrounded by good energy.

He loves being around friends who are DJs MCs and producers and for years he was more than happy supporting them watching them do their thing and backing nights across the scene. Although he had dabbled in DJing now and again it was only a matter of time before the DJing bug truly hit him.

Over the last couple of years Bizz has built a strong reputation and has been making a lot of noise. What started as getting together with a few friends for live streams soon led to a bi-weekly show with Mid Life Crisis. Through these regular streams Bizz worked alongside local DJs and MCs which opened the door to charity event streams and eventually secured him a residency with Mid Life Crisis playing at live events.

Bizz has played on the SMF Drum & Bass Stage at Swindon’s biggest music festival. He has also teamed up with long-term friends DJs and MCs to become part of the collective Shellington FC who host regular live streams and have live events coming up this year.

In a short space of time Bizz has come a long way. He has played on KOOL LDN, Rough Tempo, Code Red, The Buckle Bunker, The Goat Shed and Headroom Studios. He has also recently secured a residency with Loaded Bass DNB and hosts a radio/live stream show at Headroom Studios in Bristol where he invites other local artists to perform alongside him.

Bizz was picked up by Twisted who recognised his talent potential and passion for the scene. He now plays regular nights and radio shows for Twisted.

The Music

Bizz enjoys Garage and House music but his main love will always be Jungle and Drum & Bass.

For Bizz the music is about connection energy community and keeping the true spirit of the rave scene alive.
