Public Voting Rules

Voting Period

• Voting opens: 1 August 2026
• Voting closes: 15 October 2026 at 23:59 (UK time)

Votes submitted outside of this period will not be counted.

How Voting Works

• Each approved entrant will receive a unique voting link
• Voting will take place online via the official platform
• Members of the public may vote for their favourite entrants

Fair Use Policy

To ensure fairness and integrity:

• ? Automated voting (bots/scripts) is strictly prohibited
• ? Bulk voting services or paid votes are not permitted
• ? Use of fake accounts or fraudulent activity will result in disqualification

We reserve the right to:

• Monitor voting activity
• Remove suspicious votes
• Disqualify any entrant found to be manipulating results

Vote Limits

• Voting limits may be applied per person per device or per IP address
• Any attempt to bypass voting limits may result in disqualification

Judging & Final Decisions

• Public votes will contribute toward the final results
• Twisted reserves the right to:
  • Verify all votes
  • Review finalists
  • Make final decisions where necessary

All decisions made by Twisted are final and binding.

Promotion Guidelines

Entrants are encouraged to promote their voting link however:

• Promotion must remain fair and respectful
• ? No misleading claims (e.g. “guaranteed winner”)
• ? No incentives or rewards in exchange for votes

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in disqualification.

Technical Issues

• Twisted is not responsible for:
  • Website downtime
  • Connectivity issues
  • Lost or delayed votes due to technical problems

Right to Amend

Twisted reserves the right to:

• Amend voting rules if necessary
• Extend or shorten voting periods in exceptional circumstances

Any changes will be clearly communicated.

Fair Play Statement

The Music Recognition Awards are built to support genuine talent.

Any attempt to unfairly influence results undermines the competition and will be dealt with seriously.
