Edition 1 of Twisted Magazine (January 2026) wasn’t just the launch of a magazine — it was the moment everything we’d been building finally had a voice.
This first issue brings together real people real journeys and real music culture. Featuring artists like DJ Jekz founder of The Drum & Bass Bible his feature dives into the history he brings with him — representing the foundations of old school Drum & Bass and the legacy that continues to shape the scene today. Alongside this Blindsided gives a powerful insight into life as a disabled DJ after losing his sight reinforcing what Twisted is truly about — honesty resilience and representation within the scene.
It goes deeper than just music. This edition places a strong focus on men’s mental health opening up important conversations that are often avoided while also keeping you connected to the culture with what’s on in the scene events and movement across the UK.
There’s also a remembrance page dedicated to those we’ve lost to suicide — a space to reflect remember and reinforce why these conversations matter so much.
It’s raw in places proud in others and completely true to what Twisted stands for — supporting artists at every level and giving them a platform that actually means something.
More than anything this edition captures the beginning —
the first step in building something that connects music people and purpose.
And that purpose runs deeper than just content. Every page you read contributes towards supporting Mind making this not just a magazine but something that gives back.
Edition 1 is where Twisted Magazine found its voice — and where the journey truly started.
