DJ TECH

Underground pioneer DJ Tech has been shaping dancefloors and sound-system culture since 1993. Originally known as TribalEditor he now performs and produces as DJ Tech aka TribalEditor. A former member of the legendary Exodus Collective and founder of internet radio platform Level1Radio his journey spans more than three decades of electronic music.

Throughout his career DJ Tech has performed at iconic venues including Bagleys in London Q Club in Birmingham and Caesars Palace in Luton. He has represented influential sound systems and crews including Exodus STS Pendulum Teknical Disturbance and Tunnel Crew.

DJ Tech creates high-energy journeys through driving percussion powerful synths hypnotic melodies tearing acid lines and explosive breaks. His multi-genre sound moves between Techno Hard Trance Old Skool Jungle Drum & Bass and darker underground electronic music—bringing decades of experience together with a constantly evolving production style.

From his beginnings as a robotic dancer in the 1980s to his work as a DJ producer broadcaster and Beat Jugglers band leader DJ Tech has always lived at the heart of underground music culture.

Now signed to Twisted Recordz DJ Tech is entering an exciting new phase of his career. Alongside an extensive pipeline of original productions he is revisiting and remixing selected tracks from his earlier catalogue—bringing them up to date with the power depth and production quality of his current sound.

His forthcoming releases will showcase new productions reworked originals and the full range of his distinctive sound as he continues pushing harder darker and further forward.

DARKFADA

Drum & Bass • Jungle

Darkfada joins the Twisted Recordz roster with a sound firmly rooted in the darker side of Drum & Bass and underground electronic music.

Driven by heavyweight production atmosphere and energy his music brings its own identity to the label while remaining connected to the foundations of the scene. Darkfada represents the uncompromising underground spirit at the heart of Twisted Recordz.

Producer skmakesbeats brings a contemporary production style and distinctive creative approach to Twisted Recordz.

Focused on creating music with character rather than following a formula his productions combine electronic influences with the energy and foundations of Drum & Bass. As part of the growing Twisted Recordz roster skmakesbeats represents the new generation of producers helping move underground music forward.

MI6 brings underground energy and a passion for bass music to the Twisted Recordz family.

With influences drawn from Drum & Bass and Jungle his music combines the raw foundations of the genres with his own approach to production. As the Twisted Recordz catalogue continues to expand MI6 forms part of a roster built around individuality creativity and a genuine love of underground music.

PEARL'

Born in Montego Bay Jamaica and raised in Tottenham North London Phil Dickson-Earle—aka Pearl—is a producer engineer manager and member of the Beat Jugglers whose career spans more than three decades of British electronic music.

Phil entered the music industry in the late 1980s managing Honeychile who were signed to CBS Records. In the early 1990s he co-founded Law & Auder Studios and worked alongside pioneering Jungle artists helping to create numerous classic Jungle and Drum & Bass vinyl releases.

His work with Techno outfit FLF led to releases on the iconic Rising High Records and a role as the label’s in-house studio engineer. He subsequently performed across the UK and Europe at venues including Lakota Ministry of Sound and Berlin’s legendary Tresor nightclub.

In 1996 Phil launched Law & Auder Records following the release of the Avantgardism Drum ’n’ Bass album. His wider career has also included promoting the Monastery of Sound Festival hosting the experimental electronic night Rehab and teaching Music Technology.

Now releasing with Twisted Recordz Pearl draws upon his Jamaican roots London sound-system culture and extensive studio experience to create distinctive boundary-pushing electronic music across multiple genres.

ASYNCHY

Drum & Bass • House • Electronic • Underground

 

 

ASYNCHY is an emerging electronic music producer whose sound bridges high-energy club anthems with deep atmospheric soundscapes.

Specialising in Drum & Bass ASYNCHY moves effortlessly between the heavy energetic hooks of Jump Up and the rich soulful textures of Liquid. Each track is carefully engineered around razor-sharp percussion rolling basslines and hypnotic melodies creating a sound that is both powerful and immersive.

Driven by precise sound design and a forward-thinking approach to production ASYNCHY continues to explore new territory within modern electronic music. Now releasing with Twisted Recordz a growing catalogue of original singles showcases an artist developing a distinctive identity within the UK underground scene.

Bassphaze

Neuro • Drum & Bass • Electronic 

 

 

Based in Stourbridge Bassphaze is a Neuro Drum & Bass producer known for high-energy sound powerful production and an uncompromising underground edge.

Bassphaze holds an important place in the history of Twisted Recordz delivering the label’s first-ever release with his track “Echoes”. He also played a key role in running and developing the label during its early years.

His musical influences span several generations of electronic music. Sharkey’s Hardcore era and The Prodigy provided early inspiration while artists including The Prototypes Koven and Sub Focus helped shape his passion for modern Drum & Bass.

More recently Bassphaze has drawn inspiration from artists he has been fortunate to work with including The In Kill Bulletstorm Contam and Titanz. His influences also include local artists Dribbz Bridie and The Voice finalist Callum Donignie alongside Neuroheadz Stonx and Lee UHF.

At the heart of Bassphaze’s music is a simple philosophy: if the production is powerful polished and packed with energy he is all in. Now part of the renewed Twisted Recordz journey he continues to represent the sound history and independent spirit on which the label was built.
