Phoenix Rising - MRA 2026 - HARD DANCE DJ ENTRY

Rush also known as Phonix Rising has been immersed in dance music since first discovering DJing at a young age. Beginning on a basic set of turntables before upgrading to Technics SL-1210s in 1997 he quickly developed a passion for mixing and live performance. Inspired by the energy of the rave scene he established himself as both a DJ and event promoter launching his own successful event brand Bangin' in 1999. Alongside performing Rush dedicated himself to developing his production skills and building a reputation within the UK Hardcore and Hard Dance scene.

The Inspiration

Rush's passion for dance music began from the moment he first stepped behind a set of decks. The energy of the UK rave scene and performances from artists such as DJ Dougal inspired him to pursue DJing, producing and promoting events. That passion continues to drive him today as he remains committed to creating music and supporting the next generation of talent.
